IQAC Hosts Certificate Awarding Ceremony for Teachers’ Training Program

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of East West University (EWU), in collaboration with the Centre for Research and Training East West University (CRTEWU), organized a Certificate Awarding Ceremony for their Teachers’ Training Program. The event took place at the Shelley A. Mubdi Lecture Gallery on 12 February 2025.
The ceremony commenced with a welcome address by Professor Dr. Sufia Islam, Director of IQAC, EWU. This was followed by experience-sharing sessions from Anisa Mehedi, Lecturer in the Department of English, and Md. Sabbir Hossain, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, who were participated in the training program.
The event was graced by Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU, attended as the Special Guest, while Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser and Founder Vice Chancellor of EWU, honored the occasion as the Chief Guest. In their addresses, both Professors have emphasized the importance of continuous professional development for educators to enhance the quality of education. They congratulated the participants on their successful completion of the training and encouraged them to apply for flourishing their new skills and knowledge in teaching practices.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Engineering and Additional Director of IQAC, EWU. The event was attended by Professor Dr. M. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro Vice Chancellor; Air Cdre Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Treasurer; Deans; Chairpersons of the Departments; Faculty Members and the Officials of IQAC. The Teachers’ Training Program is part of EWU’s ongoing efforts to foster academic excellence and enhance the teaching capabilities of its faculty members.
