CRTEWU Hosts Seminar on Perceived Service Quality of District Public Libraries in Bangladesh

The Center for Research and Training at East West University (CRTEWU) successfully hosted a research seminar titled “Perceived Service Quality of District Public Libraries of Bangladesh: An Analysis through the Lens of LibQUAL+” on January 23, 2025, in the CRTEWU Seminar Room of East West University(EWU).
The seminar featured presentations by Dr. Dilara Begum, Professor, and Md. Hasinul Elahi, Senior Lecturer, Department of Information Studies, EWU. They presented their research proposal to an engaged audience. Dr. Md. Roknuzzaman, Professor, Department of Information Science and Library Management, University of Dhaka, served as the key discussant, providing critical insights and feedback.
Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury, Member of the Board of Trustees at EWU and Chairperson of CRTEWU, presided over the seminar session. The audience actively participated, asking insightful questions, making comments, and providing valuable feedback during the Q&A session.
Notable attendees included Professor Dr. M. Ashike Mosaddik, Pro Vice Chancellor of EWU, who also shared his thoughts on the seminar's topic.
The seminar highlighted the importance of evaluating and improving the service quality of district public libraries in Bangladesh, aiming to enhance their role in community development and education. Faculty Members, Students, and CRTEWU Officials have also presented at the research seminar.
