EWUDC achieved the Runner-up title in the “ATU-DUDS সহিংস উগ্রবাদ বিরোধী আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৪”
East West University Debating Club achieved the Runner-Up title in the "ATU-DUDS সহিংস উগ্রবাদ বিরোধী আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৪" organized by the Anti-Terrorism Unit of Bangladesh and Dhaka University Debating Society on January 27, 2024, at the Mozaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of Dhaka University's Faculty of Social Sciences.
The team, EWUDC Blues, consisting of Nayemur Rahman, Zafir Anam, and Nabila Shahbazee, showcased exceptional eloquence and skill. After participating in 4 preliminary rounds, EWUDC Blues achieved a flawless record with 4 wins, securing the top-breaking team in the tournament. Their articulate arguments led them to the finals, where they displayed remarkable finesse. In a demonstration of their intellectual abilities, Nayemur Rahman achieved the top speaker break in the tab round, and EWUDC Blues became the Runner-Up, clearly recognizing their hard work and dedication to debating.
The event's chief guest was the additional IG of the Anti-Terrorism Unit Mr. SM Ruhul Amin.
