Alif Hasan Brings National Recognition to East West University at Art in Your Heart II
Alif Hasan, a Sub-Executive of the East West University Photography Club (EWUPC), has been awarded the 1st Runner-Up prize in “Art in Your Heart II,” a nationwide photography contest and exhibition organized by the Patuakhali Science and Technology University Photography Club (PSTUPC).
The call for submissions opened on 1 September 2025 and closed on 20 October 2025. The contest was judged by Md. Enamul Kabir and Rakib Reza. The exhibition was held in the open-air premises of the PSTU campus on 6 and 7 December 2025.
The competition featured two categories—Single Photo and Photo Story—receiving a total of 3,506 single photo submissions and 46 photo stories from photographers across the country.
Alongside Alif Hasan’s achievement, several photographers from East West University also had their works exhibited in the competition. MD Asiful Islam had two photographs selected for exhibition, while Israt Jahan Ira had one photograph exhibited.
Through his exceptional photographic vision, Alif Hasan earned the prestigious 1st Runner-Up position, further highlighting the strong presence and growing impact of East West University photographers in national-level exhibitions and marking his name among the country’s promising emerging photographers.
