CV writing workshop held by the Career Counseling Center of EWU
The EWU Career Counseling Center, along with UPay (a UCB fintech company), organized a workshop on "CV writing" on August 05, 2023, at the Jalaluddin Ahmed Lecture Gallery. Mr. Arpon Saha, the esteemed Head of Human Resources at Upay, led the session, leveraging his extensive experience in talent recruitment. The workshop aimed to equip students with essential skills to craft compelling curriculum vitae. Around 198 students from the Faculty of Business and Economics took part in this workshop. During the workshop, Mr. Saha engaged the participants interactively, guiding them on how to effectively fill up CV parameters to make their resumes more attractive to potential employers. He also addressed various relevant issues related to the job application process. One of the crucial pieces of advice imparted by Mr. Saha was encouraging fresher graduates to remain open to diverse job opportunities and embrace new challenges in their professional careers. Furthermore, he shared valuable insights on how to handle interview questions with confidence, enabling attendees to excel during job interviews and secure their desired positions.
