Socio-Psyche Counselling Center

Published on Apr 06, 2026

East West University (EWU) is committed to supporting the mental health and emotional well-being of its community through its dedicated Socio-Psyche Counselling Center. Established under the Department of Student Welfare, the Center provides accessible, confidential, and professional psychological support services for both students and staff.

Accessible Mental Health Support The Socio-Psyche Counselling Center ensures that individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, or other mental health challenges have access to qualified mental health counselors. Counseling services are available through prior appointment, allowing students and staff to engage in structured, personalized sessions in a safe and supportive environment. The initiative reflects EWU’s proactive approach to addressing growing psychological stress and promoting overall well-being within the university community.

Professional Counseling Services EWU has appointed trained and experienced counselors to provide guidance on a range of psychosocial concerns. These include: • Managing academic and personal stress • Addressing emotional and behavioral challenges • Navigating family and relationship difficulties • Preventing substance abuse and other social risks

The Center adopts a preventive and supportive approach, helping individuals build resilience and coping strategies for long-term well-being. Please register, and CCC will confirm your counseling date and time. Registration link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd4Yp1y_i1MN1QnSlJhP4ZgEe3WYaawLt6-K1Pb_J1opQLisw/viewform

Integrated Support through Career Counseling Center The Socio-Psyche Counselling Center works in coordination with the university’s Career Counseling Center, ensuring a holistic support system that integrates mental well-being with personal and professional development. This integrated model allows students to receive guidance not only on psychological concerns but also on life skills, decision-making, and future planning.

Structured and Confidential Services The Center operates on all working days (Sunday to Thursday) during designated hours and offers services in a private and confidential setting, encouraging individuals to seek help without hesitation. All interactions are handled with sensitivity, professionalism, and respect for individual privacy.

Awareness, Prevention, and Community Engagement In addition to one-on-one counseling, EWU promotes mental health awareness through seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns organized across departments. These initiatives aim to reduce stigma, encourage help-seeking behavior, and build a mentally resilient campus community.
