East West University Commemorates 54th National Victory Day

East West University (EWU) marked Bangladesh's 54th National Victory Day with solemn homage and tribute to the valiant freedom fighters and millions of martyrs who gave their lives for the country's independence. The EWU family gathered to honor their memory and celebrate the nation's historic achievement.
The celebration commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag at the EWU ‘Shaheed Minar’ premises at 6:34 a.m., followed by a special “Munajat” for the martyrs and freedom fighters, as well as for the peace and prosperity of Bangladesh. This heartfelt prayer took place in the early morning at the EWU Campus, Aftabnagar, Dhaka.
The program was led by distinguished leaders of the EWU community, including Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Adviser and Founder Vice-Chancellor of EWU, Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of EWU, and Professor Dr. Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor. The event saw active participation from Deans, Faculty Members, Registrar, Section Heads, Students, Officers, and University Staff, all coming together to pay their respects and celebrate this momentous occasion.
