Saifa Haque Awarded Fellowship to Advance HE
We are pleased to announce that Saifa Haque, Senior Lecturer, Department of English, has become a Fellow of Advance HE. Advance HE is a British charity and membership scheme that confers fellowship upon individuals who provide comprehensive evidence of their practice meeting the rigorous requirements of the Professional Standards Framework (PSF). She can now use post-nominals FHEA as part of a global community dedicated to excellence in higher education. By attaining this fellowship, Saifa has demonstrated a mastery of core knowledge and professional values, including pedagogical integration, student-centric support, and continuous quality improvement. At the Department of English, she aligns teaching methods with modern educational research to foster an inclusive environment and promote student participation. It shows her commitment to the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of instructional practices. Saifa’s successful application for Fellowship not only marks a personal achievement but also contributes to the collective enhancement of our department’s teaching standards.
