EWU Law Secures Top Four Position at the Stetson Environmental Moot Court Competition Bangladesh Rounds
The Department of Law of East West University is delighted to share the success of its team of undergraduate students who represented EWU at the 2nd Bangladesh Qualifying Rounds of the Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition 2025–2026 held on February 5-7, 2026, at the Independent University Bangladesh co-organized by Independent University and Hearth Bangladesh. The team from the Department of Law successfully advanced to the Semi-Finals, securing a position among the top four teams in the competition. The team comprised Saima Haque (First Oralist), Israt Jahan Sadia (Second Oralist), and Mahidul Hasan (Researcher). Through consistent dedication, rigorous legal research, and confident oral advocacy, they delivered an outstanding performance throughout the qualifying rounds. The team was ably guided and mentored by their Coach, Shah Maruf Uddin Ahmad, and Co-Coach, Shaikh Mirazur Rahman, both Lecturers in Law, whose continuous support, strategic insight, and encouragement were instrumental to this success. The Department warmly congratulates the team on this remarkable achievement and wishes them continued success in their future academic and professional endeavors.
