CSE Students Won Two “Springer ICDMIS 2024: Best Paper Awards”
Md. Ashikur Rahoman, Md. Shakil, Md. Sanwarul Islam, and Md. Ahnaf Morshed for the paper titled “Prediction of Glioblastoma Using 3D-CNN” as well as Md Abu Zafor, Israt Jahan, Warda Ruhin Parsub, Farzia Hossain, and K. M. Safin Kamal for another paper titled “Optimizing Image Classification and Segmentation: A Comparative Study of Deep Learning and Machine Learning Model” under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University won two Best Paper Awards for their outstanding contributions at the International Conference on Data Mining and Information Security (ICDMIS 2024), which was organized by the Eminent College of Management and Technology (ECMT), India, in collaboration with the Universitas Al Asyariah Mandar, Indonesia, 7th to 8th October 2024. The conference proceedings will be published in Springer (LNNS Series), indexed by SCOPUS.
