CSE Students Won Two "Best Paper Awards" from Springer ICIDA 2024
Matthews Ankon Baroi, Sheikh Shafi-Ul Hasan Sami, Md. Monwar Hossain, and K. M. Safin Kamal for the paper titled “Portable IoT-Based Prediction of Solar Energy Generation Using Deep Learning” as well as D.M. Rafiun Bin Masud, Sayed Fuad Al Labib, Arpon Bhattacharjee, Md. Mottakin Rahat, and K. M. Safin Kamal for another paper titled “Deep Learning and Non-Contrast CT for Widespread Pancreatic Cancer Detection” under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), East West University won two Best Paper Awards for their outstanding contributions at the 3rd International Conference on Innovations in Data Analytics (ICIDA 2024) organized by Eminent College of Management & Technology (ECMT), India on 18th and 19th December 2024. Out of many excellent submissions, these two papers stood out for their clarity and inventiveness. The outstanding caliber and significance of research are reflected in this remarkable accomplishment. The conference proceedings will be published in Springer Nature (LNNS Series), indexed by SCOPUS.
