Achievement of the Students from the Department of Law in the BAIUST National Law Olympiad 2025




The Department of Law is pleased to share the achievements of its students, Tanjim Maliha, Alvia Islam and Arafat Rahman, in the ‘BAIUST National Law Olympiad 2025: A Carnival of Contemporary Legal Minds’ held on 13 May 2025 at the Department of Law of the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST). The Law Olympiad brought together law students from across Bangladesh for a day of academic excellence and legal competition. Professor Dr. Muhammad Ekramul Haque, Dean, Faculty of Law, University of Dhaka and Adviser, Department of Law, East West University were present in the event as Special Guest. Tanjim Maliha and Alvia Islam secured the position of Second Runner-Up in the Case Analysis Segment of the BAIUST National Law Olympiad 2025. Arafat Rahman secured Third Place in the Legal Quiz Segment of the same event. They represented the Department of Law, East West University at this prestigious national platform and competed among participants from across the country. The Law Olympiad focused on contemporary legal themes including jurisprudential theories, landmark case laws, and issues of sustainability, digital governance, and human rights.
