Event Description
On December 15th, the East West University Environmental and Social Club proudly hosted "Voice of Youth- A Canvas for People & Planet," where talented individuals
showcased their creative thoughts and ideas on Climate Change & Ecosystems, Social Injustice, and Life at East West University through impactful writing, photography, and heartfelt paintings. The event was inaugurated at 10.30 am by Ms. Ismat Shereen, Adviser, Students' Welfare & Head of Career Counseling Center and our respected Moderator Nishat Anjum Bini Ma'am, Lecturer, Department of Social Relations.
At the closing ceremony, we were honoured by the presence of Professor Dr Mohammad Ashik Mosaddik, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Ms Ismat Shereen, Adviser, Students' Welfare & Head of Career Counseling Center. A powerful speech was delivered by our Pro-Vice Chancellor, Sir, on offering valuable insights into leading a productive life and utilizing the enthusiasm of youths for meaningful contributions to the development of the country.
Special thanks to our respected faculty members, Md. Rezwan Siddiqui Sir, Senior Lecturer, Department of Social Relations and Nadia Rahaman Ma'am, Senior Lecturer, Department of Law for their guidance and encouragement.
The event concluded at 6 pm by providing certificates to the participants of selected submissions for all segments. The top 3 participants were awarded crests & certificates, which were elected by the students of East West University through a voting system. We believe that this appreciation will inspire the spirit of their souls and the togetherness of young voices can bring meaningful change.
