Event Description

Eco Fair 2.0", an environment-friendly fair, was organized by the East West University Environmental and Social Club (EWUESC), to motivate people to use eco-friendly products and to promote student entrepreneurship skills. The rural theme of the fair, along with the prodigious contribution of incredibly talented and creative entrepreneurs, uplifted the spirit of the EWU campus.

The phenomenal fair was inaugurated at 10 am on 26th December, in presence of the honorable Pro VC of EWU, Dr. Mohammad Ziaul Haq Mamun, Chief Guest, CEO and Managing Director of Energypac Electronics Ltd, Md. Nurul Aktar, Treasurer, Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Counselor of Mind Gym Wing of EWUESC, Dr. Almasur Rahman, Advisor of Student’s Welfare Department and Head of Career Counseling center, Nahid Hassan Khan and the respected Club Moderators, Rumana Afroz and Md. Shazed Ul Hoq Khan Abir. 

EWU Courtyard was immersed with the ambiance of the rural fair and lively atmosphere. Many of our respected faculty members visited stalls and supported the students. A total of 20 stalls were placed, including a clothing stall of modern attire t-shirts, a few handcrafted jewelry and product shops, 

a book shop, some food stalls, terrarium and agro based shops and a skin care shop, etc. 

However, the first day of the fair was filled with amazement and inspiration and it concluded with a photo session at 5 pm.
