Event Description

East West University Sociology Club organized a program for recalling the sacrificing memories of Language Martyrs entitled “ঊনিশ নয় বিশ এর একুশ'' The day-long program held on 20th February 2020 at Wi-Fi Zone and EWU courtyard. Numerous arrangements were portrayed in the exhibition session. For instance, the depiction of history by paintings and pictures, monuments, word cages, World Globe which has been shown as a symbolic representation of respect to all other languages in the earth. As well as there was a portrait of the father of our nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, along with the language martyrs. A cultural session was included in the ending part of the program; therefore, dance, recitation, and songs were performed. All the arrangements highlighted the blood-bathing struggle of Bengali Language Martyrs.

Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, Chief Advisor and Founder Vice-Chancellor of East-West University (EWU), Dr. Rafiqul Huda Chaudhury Member, Board of Trustee (EWU) have graced the program. Moreover, the program was attended by Dr. Muhammad Ziaulhaq Mamun, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Fouzia Mannan, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and faculty members of the University.
