EWU Female Students Will Get Support from the ICT Division and the Netherlands Government

An Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony for the SheSTEM project funded by Kingdom of the Netherlands and implemented by the Information Communication Technology (ICT) division of Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology in association with a consortium including 10 Minutes School, a2i, DevLearn Consultancy, LightCastel Partners Limited and Policy Exchange of Bangladesh on May 8,2024 at Hotel Amari Dhaka. 

There are seven reputed universities of Bangladesh including East West University (EWU) sign the contract as academic partner with SheSTEM project. Pro Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Ashik Mosaddik was present on the occasion on behalf of the Career Council Center (CCC) of East West University (EWU) and signed the MoU. Under this MOU female students of Science, Technology, Electrical and Mathematics will be trained, and they will get job placement benefit in future. All logistics support and costs will be provided by the ICT division in associations with LightCastle Partners Limited and EWU will provide the venue and students for conducting the training as well as short courses program.                                  

The MoUsigning ceremony was attended by Honorable State Minister, Zunaid Ahmed Pallak, MP, Mr. Jan Swillens, First Secretary of Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands, Professor Ashik Mosaddik, Pro Vice Chancellor, EWU, Her Excellency Ambassador Irma Van Dueren of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Md. Ashim Rahman, Business Development Advisor, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Mohammad Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, Additional Secretary, and Project Director, a2i among others.
