The Department of Social Relations at East West University (EWU) successfully hosted two informative seminars on pressing global issues. The first seminar, titled "Diabetes: A Global Public Health Issue," shed light on the increasing prevalence of diabetes worldwide and its significant impact on public health. The second seminar, "Higher Study and Career Opportunity in Germany," explored the opportunities available for higher education and career advancement in Germany.

Dr. Marzia Zaman Sultana, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Social Relations, delivered the keynote address for the seminar on diabetes. Her insightful presentation highlighted the causes, consequences, and prevention strategies for this chronic disease. Dr. Sultana emphasized the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles, including regular exercise and a balanced diet, to combat diabetes.

The seminar on higher education and career opportunities in Germany was graced by the presence of Neesa Khan, a BSc Engineer in Industrial & Business Systems and Program Quality Manager at T-Systems International, Germany. Ms. Khan shared her valuable experiences and provided valuable guidance to students aspiring to pursue higher studies or build careers in Germany. She discussed the educational landscape, visa requirements, and career prospects in various fields.
