An English Department Student Wins Best Paper Award
Afnan Bintey Helal, a student of MA in English program at East West University emerged triumphant as the recipient of the prestigious “Best Paper Award” at the 10th Inter-University Student Conference and Cultural Competition 2024. The competition, organized by The Department of English and Humanities at ULAB, explored the theme “Language Weaponisation and Sociopolitical Change.” Competing against participants from 28 universities, both public and private, across Bangladesh, Afnan Bintey Helal’s paper secured her the position of champion for its originality and in-depth analysis of the theme.
