Workshop on Microsoft Azure Administration

On 13th May 2023, East West University Robotics Club organized a workshop on "Microsoft Azure Administration." The workshop aimed to provide students with essential knowledge and practical skills related to Azure administration and its various services. The guest speaker for the event was Kaisar Ahmed Khan, a certified professional with expertise in RHCA, VCP-DCA, MCSA, and ITIL, discussed the key areas of Microsoft Azure Administration, as well as the various services it offers and the process of managing and maintaining Microsoft Azure resources, and applications.
Approximately 50 students attended the workshop and demonstrated their interest in learning about Azure Administration and its relevance in their academic and professional careers. Throughout the session, students gained valuable insights into creating and overseeing resources on the Azure cloud platform. The workshop covered essential areas such as setting up Azure subscriptions, utilizing the Azure portal and command line interfaces, creating resource groups, establishing virtual networks, generating Windows 10 workstations, setting up Linux virtual machines with remote login capabilities, configuring network security groups, and creating web servers with external access. Doing this workshop, participants acquired essential skills that would prove beneficial for their academic endeavors and future careers.
In recognition of the speaker's invaluable contribution to the session, Professor Dr. Ahmed Wasif Reza, the moderator of the East West University Robotics Club, expressed deep appreciation by presenting a prestigious crest of honor. The event reached its culmination with a memorable photo session, wherein participants were presented with certificates of completion. These certificates not only acknowledged their resounding success but also equipped them with practical skills and left them with a vibrant memory that captured the essence of the session's achievements.
