On 21st February, East West University solemnly observed International Mother Language Day with deep respect and remembrance. The program began in the morning with everyone gathering in front of the Shaheed Minar, the eternal symbol of the Language Movement.

EWUMUNC, along with the Honorable Vice Chancellor, the Club Moderator, respected faculty members, and students, participated in the observance. The event commenced with 'Probhat Feri', beginning from the Shaheed Minar as a tribute to the Language Martyrs of 1952.

Following the procession, floral wreaths were placed at the Shaheed Minar, and heartfelt homage was paid to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the dignity of our mother tongue, Bangla. A moment of silence was observed in their honor.

The program concluded successfully, with all participants departing after paying their respects at the Shaheed Minar, carrying with them a renewed sense of reverence and unity.
