Event Description
A fantastic opportunity was presented to the students of East West University who aspire to be like a diplomat and to gain exclusive skills and a knowledge base, in the form of a dynamic event dubbed as East West University INTRA-MUN 2024.
This conference consisted of simulations of the United Nations' discussion and problem-solving activities. Students took on the roles of diplomats from different countries around the world. Then they were assigned in different committees and were given an agenda, which propelled them to engage in research, debate, negotiations, presentation, and leadership activities. Through this process, the budding diplomats marched forward to find innovative solutions to pressing world issues.
The theme of this year's conference is "Navigating towards a Sustainable and Resilient Planet through Global Commitment and Collective Action"

The Event Day:
The First day of the conference had a harmonious blend of academic rigor and cultural enrichment which ensured a productive and enriching start to the conference. It commenced with a ceremonial opening, setting the tone for the subsequent intellectual discourse. Delegates were subsequently immersed in committee sessions, engaging in spirited debates and negotiations on pressing global challenges. Lastly, the cultural segment was organized to foster cultural understanding and camaraderie.
As the second day of the conference drew to a close, delegates reflected on the progress made and challenges encountered. Committee sessions intensified, with delegates delving deeper into their respective topics and engaging in more nuanced debates. Resolutions were crafted, debated, and ultimately adopted, reflecting the collective will of the committee members. As the day transitioned into the evening, the conference concluded with a formal closing ceremony. A sense of accomplishment and camaraderie filled the air as delegates bid farewell to their newfound friends and connections, eager to carry forward the lessons and experiences gained from this enriching event.
