The Final Round of the "Sales Sprint 2023" was held on 15th April. The best six teams among the Forty Five teams got a chance to participate in the final round. The names of the winning teams are: Champion "We Tried Few", 1st Runner up "The Scanners" and 2nd Runner up "The Trailblazers".
East West University Agro Industrialization Club hosted this intra university sales-based case competition, “Sales Sprint 2023”. EWU Agro Industrialization Club has previously arranged many competitions such as EMP (EWU Marque Prey), Supply Chain Challenge, Value String Challenge, Agro Biz Expo etc. This Club is also continuously arranging various types of seminars and workshops for the student skills development and trying to give ideas about the future career related knowledge & set of skills.
This competition had four phases. There are:
The first phase of the competition was a workshop on the “Sales and Retail” industry.
The second phase of the competition, another workshop about “Case Solving Overview”.
The third and fourth phases of the competition were, Round 1 and another one was the Final Round of case solving. All the participating teams received "sales and retail problems related" case through the Email.
Sales case competitions are an increasingly popular way for sales professionals to test their skills and knowledge. These competitions challenge competitors to use their sales experience and creativity to solve a real-world sales problem.
The competition is typically judged by a panel of sales experts who evaluate the solutions presented by each team. Arifur Rahman, Area Manager, Unilever Bangladesh Limited &
Aivan Hossain Kanon, Area Sales Manager, Arla Foods Bangladesh Limited were the honorable judges for this competition. Sale case competitions allow participants to use a variety of sales techniques and strategies to come up with solutions to a given problem. These competitions help participants to develop their problem-solving skills, as well as their ability to think critically about sales-related issues. Competitions are also a great way for participants to network with like-minded sales professionals. Participants in a sales case competition should expect to be presented with a complex problem that requires a creative and analytical approach. Teams must work together to develop a solution that meets the criteria outlined by the judging panel.

The criteria used to evaluate solutions to a sales case competition can vary depending on the competition. Generally, teams are judged on their ability to identify and analyze the problem, develop a well-constructed solution, and present their solution in a clear and concise manner.
