Event Description

It is essential for people living in a community to have access to accurate and detailed information of various service providers of a specific area. However, getting necessary information especially on health, education, and child protection issues is not easy. Therefore,  Kolorob is an android-based application, which connects service providers and recipients through an online service directory. Moreover, It is implemented in 129 municipality Wards of Dhaka City and planning to scale up in the rest of the city and 24 districts of Dhaka City. Consequently,  Kolorob app has received the ‘National Mobile Application Award 2016’ from the ICT Division of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in Bangladesh.

To inform about the application, East West University Sociology Club collaborating with Save The Children organized a workshop entitled ‘Workshop on- Kolorob Mobile Application’. on 19th September 2019 (Thursday) from 10 am - 1 pm which was held in the S M Nowsir Ali Gallery, East West University.
