Event Description

Here, for the fifth time, the biggest Inter-University Badminton Tournament in the country is named EWU Winter Smash and in 2020 by this season forming as EWU Winter Smash 2020 sponsored by KRAKO; organized by East West University Sports Club. EWUSC adorned the tournament as a memorable and ravishing festival as well as it happens inconsistent manner. Successionally, again KRAKO sponsored the entire program. The tournament was held from 26 February 2020 to 01 March 2020 and total 120 teams from 40 public, private, national universities and medical colleges participated there to put their name as a witness of this glorious feast and to achieve golden pride by winning the championship. Six categories of formation of badminton such as Boys Singles, Girls Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Faculty & Admin’s Doubles were taken to be played where 3 teams allowed for each category. The venue was the basement playground of East West University. On the final day, however, a massive and impressive cultural function and music concert took its precious place there.
