Event Description

East West University's first-ever mini-marathon, "EWU RUN5K," was organized by the East West University Sports Club. The event took place on August 26, 2022. We are aware that many people among us live with depression regularly. Running in the morning can keep people in shape and help them clear their minds.

As a countermeasure to depression, EWUSC arranged the program. Around 200 participants attended the event. The enthusiasm of the participants was overwhelming. Soon after the run, three marathon winners, both boys, and girls, were crowned with crests. As a token of appreciation for enthusiasm and perseverance, EWUSC distributed medals and certificates among the participants who successfully finished the run. We hope to continue the event on an even bigger scale.
