Event Description

The EWU Football Fiesta 2023 kicked off with a dazzling trophy unveiling on December 23rd, where Mr. Mobarak Hossain Khan, moderator of EWUSC, alongside current and former executives, proudly revealed this year’s prize. Powered by Walton and supported by Beximco Pharma and Rupa Group, the tournament ignited fierce competition on December 27th and 28th at Nutmeg Sports Ground, featuring spirited clashes among twelve vibrant departments.

The thrilling finale witnessed the Department of Computer Science and Engineering triumphing over the Department of Civil Engineering, capturing the championship with relentless determination.

The closing ceremony, honored by Treasurer Air Cdre (Retd) Ishfaq Ilahi Choudhury, Advisor Nahid Hassan Khan, and Dr. Md. Mobarak Hossain Khan, celebrated standout players and teams with trophies, medals, and prizes. Their inspiring words echoed the true spirit of sportsmanship and unity.
