The IEEE PES RES For Kids-"Green Power Coloring Competition" was put on by the IEEE East West University Student Branch executives and volunteers on May 9, 2023 at Jaynul Abedin School & College in Aftab Nagar, block #B. It is a part of PES (Power Energy Society) NwB (Networking without borders) Project.

The event was held in a classroom of the following school which was decorated by the IEEE EWU SB executives with colorful posters and banners of the following topic. The young students eagerly participated in the coloring competition. After the coloring competition, an interactive presentation on renewable energy was given by the executives. The young students actively participated in that and enjoyed the interaction. They were shown pictures of renewable energy sources and was asked simple questions on them and they were excited to answer. The students' active participation and eagerness during the presentation demonstrated their desire to learn about renewable energy and its benefits. 

At the end of the event, 1st, 2nd and third prizes and certificates were given to the winners. All the other participants were also given gifts to encourage their participation in the event. The event was successful in giving basic knowledge and creating awareness among the students about the importance of renewable energy and sustainability.
