To inform about the skill to connect to your community and professional personalities for a better career opportunity, IEEE EWU SB arranged a webinar based on

i)“The Art of Networking and Connection Making.” &

ii) “Engineers can Crack and Hack Time-Management Skills and Emotions.”

1st Session: “The Art of Networking and Connection Making” which was conducted by Dinuka Jayaweera, a superbly talented Business Analyst at Sysco LABS, and the Social Media Chair at IEEE Young Professionals. She talked about how to build networking and make connections. She shared her thoughts about IEEE and also shared her experience of IEEE with the presented people. She talked about women in the networking field and how to cope with it. Finally her session came to an end with lots of questions, which she answered perfectly.

2nd Session: “Engineers can Crack and Hack Time-Management Skills and Emotional” Nuwini Chamindi, Vice-Chair at IEEE Young Professionals Sri Lanka. She talked about how to crack time management and enhance your emotional intelligence effectively. She shared her thoughts about engineers in time management. Her session also ends with a successful questions and answer session.

Total participants in those 2 sessions were about 62 to 65 people. The feedback of participants was constructive and this session provided the participants to ask any problems regarding the workshop topic to the conductor.
