IEEE EWU SB tried to combine every profession to raise awareness of the clean energy revolution. IEEE East West University SB of Bangladesh Section arranged a webinar on

i) “Thinking Smart with the Environment” & ii) “Prospect of Smart Grid: Challenges and   Opportunities”. On 7th April 2021, Event time: 6.00-8.00 PM GMT+6.

1st Session: “Thing Smart with the Environment” which was conducted by Md Rezwan Siddique, Expert in Climate Change and Sustainability. In this session students know that how and which thinking is good for our environment and how we applied that thinking. Rezwan sir introduced us with this topic very carefully and students got his idea perfectly. Students’ responses were very remarkable and they knew their confusing topic by Q&A session.

 2nd Session: “Prospect of Smart Grid: Challenges and Opportunities” which was conducted by Dr. Fahim Abid is a smart grid and switchgear expert. In this session students know what is the challenges and opportunities about Smart Grid. DR. Fahim Abid sir discusses very technically and smartly. Students can learn very interesting things and also know some serious challenges. Total participants in those 2 sessions were about 42 to 45 people. The feedback of participants was constructive and this session provided the participants with any problems regarding the webinar topic to the conductor. There was a 5 to 10-minute Q/A session inside the 1-hour time span occupied for each session.
