Event Description

IEEE Xtreme 14.0 was an excellent initiative taken by IEEE EWU Student Branch in association with Computer Society. It was a 24 hours programming contest that commenced on the 24 October 2020 at 5 p.m. and ended on 25 October 2020 at 5 p.m. The registrations started on August 3, 2020. The IEEEXtreme committee allowed the proctored teams to compete using online Video Conferencing Platforms. The committee had done its best to keep teams engaged throughout the 24-hours. The organizers and volunteers were active for 24 hours to make sure there were no glitches faced by the participants and solved every query with a lot of patience. They made sure that the competition was a fair one by steering clear of available codes online from various coding platforms.

IEEE EWU Student Branch was represented by 2 teams with participants Syed Mostasim Hasnain Saif, MD. Mania Ahmed Joy and MD. Habibur Rahman. This event’s host was Nusrat. Based on the results published, our 1 team was ranked 1300th out of 7500+ participants all over the world. In Bangladesh, this team stood 43rd out of 150 other teams.
