IEEE East West Student Branch organized so many webinars in the year 2021. All these webinars are based on people's interests and technology-related. This is the reason all the webinars are very successful.

IEEE EWU Computer Society had organized a webinar on 12th June 2021 titled “Smart Home Automation in Bangladesh: The Digital Dream”. The webinar started at 8 pm(GMT+6). The platform of this webinar was “Google Meet''. There were about 46 participants in this webinar. Two professionals from STATA IT LIMITED had conducted the webinar. One was Alve Rahman(Public Relations Manager, Electrical Project Engineer, STATA IT Limited) and Faiza Fariha(Marketing Intern, STATA IT Limited). They explained very clearly that the opportunities to work with smart home automation are massive in Bangladesh.

Firstly,  Alve Rahman gave a brief on what it means by IoT. How IoT is related to our every innovative technology. He described how a normal home can be a smart home with the help of IoT. He described the devices and the features of a smart home. Lastly, Faiza Fariha explained the scopes and opportunities to work with IoT.

We hope that IEEE Eest West Student Branch and IEEE EWU Computer Society will organize this kind of informative technology-based webinar to enlighten us.
