Event Description

IEEE DAY 2017 will be organized by IEEE EWU Student Branch like every year.
This year EWU SB has arranged Inter university competitions in IEEE DAY 2017. In this competitions, not only IEEE members but also non IEEE members of any university can participate.

Below is a list of competitions
1. Project Showcase
2. Poster Presentation
3. Photography Exhibition

1. Project Showcase

The project should be based on Humanitarian or Energy efficiency. Each group can be formed up to 4 members. Humanitarian project means a project concerned with human welfare.
Any IEEE or Non IEEE members from any university are eligible to participate in this competition.

Prizes: The winner and runners up’s will be awarded attractive prize.

Registration:
Phase 1: Abstract submission through mail.
Phase 2: Ewuians will pay their registration fee at IEEE day 2017 registration booth.
Other students will pay their registration fee through DBBL rocket mobile banking or bkash.

2. Photography Contest:

A photography competition will be arranged where participants from any university or college can participate. You have to submit photographs that is related to science, engineering or technology. The top Photos will be exhibited on this IEEE Day. The photography topics are science, Engineering and technology.
Prizes: The winner will be awarded attractive prize.
Photograph Submission deadline: 26th October 2017.

Rules:
1. Only digitals photos will be accepted. Mobile photos will also be accepted.
2. Submitted images should be in JPEG format.

3. Each submitted photographs must be the original and unpublished work of the participant who must also be its copyright owner.

4. The photograph must be unedited and photographs containing logo/watermark will not be accepted.

5. Participants have to submit their photo though email and the subject will be “IEEE DAY 2017 Photo Contest.”
6. Participants must include some additional information (Name, Varsity or institution ID, Contact info, photograph details) in the email.

3. Poster Presentation:

The topics of poster presentation are humanitarian and energy efficiency. Each team may have one or two members. Only printed posters are allowed. Hand written posters are not allowed in the competition. Any IEEE or Non IEEE members from any university are eligible to participate in this competition
