Event Description

East West University Photography Club is proud to present the worldwide celebration of photographers "Photo Fest Asia 2024", an international photography exhibition for the third time. Photographers of all levels are encouraged/invited to submit photos. We extend our invitation to photographers worldwide, urging them to contribute to this event by showcasing their deliberate and thoughtful approaches in their photographic works.
Photographers around the world are encouraged to take part in this exhibition by expressing their thoughtful approaches throughout their photographs. So, don’t delay; enter now! We believe that every photograph tells the story of the photographer's mind so submit your best to us. Best of luck!

𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘
Any photographers above 18 years of age, around the world are eligible to submit their works

Participants must provide proof of eligibility in the form of a Student ID Card/ National ID/ Passport no. or other necessary documents if asked.

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒
1. 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 (𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐚/𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞)
Theme: OPEN
* All kinds of HDR, Digital Photo Composite or Photo Montage are allowed in Single Photos. In the case of digital photo composite or photo montage, all used Photos must be taken by the Photographers. (Proof of capture might be required if it is necessary)

2. 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲
Theme: OPEN
* Photo stories, including (but not restricted to) journalism, personal stories, and creative/conceptual stories, will be accepted. Photographers can use any type of photo imputation to express their creativity. And all the photos should be coherent and share a common theme.
* All kinds of HDR, Digital Photo Composite or photomontage are allowed in Story. In the case of digital photo composite or photo montage, all used Photos must be taken by the Photographers. (Proof of capture might be required if it is necessary)

𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐒
𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬
* Each participant can submit at most 10 photos in this category. The total file size of all the photos should not exceed 25 MB. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝐌𝐁, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐞, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐝. The photos must be in JPG/JPEG format with 3000 pixels on the longer side and the minimum resolution is 300 dpi. A participant can submit in both Color and Black & White medium.
*Watermarks, signatures, logos and borders are strictly prohibited
* Each (Single) Photo should be renamed to "Category name_ Serial no_Participant’s name_Country name_Caption_Institution Name/ Freelancer_Contact number_Email address".

* Participants must submit their photographs through mailing at “photofestasia2024@gmail.com”

* Each participant can submit at most 3 photo stories in this section. A participant can submit in both Color and Black & White. The total file size of all the photos in a story should not exceed 25 MB. 𝐈𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟓𝐌𝐁, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝. 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐄
There is no entry fee for submitting photos. But after the publication of the result, the selected entries will have to pay a registration fee for their work to be exhibited. The registration fees for both Single Photo and Photo Story will be announced after the result is published, along with the registration procedure. If any ‘selected’ photographer fails to complete the registration process within the registration deadline his/her photograph(s) will be disqualified and priority will be given to the waiting list. Registration is free for foreign participants.

𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:
* Submission of photos exhibited previously in earlier editions of PFA or any other exhibition is strongly discouraged.
* Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted if they do not constitute copyright infringement or fraud.
* The photograph must be the sole work of the entrant. By entering, the entrant confirms that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/ publicity, or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, or claim to the photograph.
* The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
* Photographers will be notified about the registration process, fees and deadlines after the result are published. If any ‘selected’ photographer fails to complete the registration process within the registration deadline his/her photograph(s) will be disqualified.
* Judges & curators hold the right to alter any selected images. (Cropping, conversion to black and white, flipping, Printing in different materials or surface etc.)
*EWUPC holds the right to examine the authenticity of the photograph/source material in order to confirm compliance with these rules.
* EWUPC can use the submitted photographs for promotional activities, but EWUPC will not use any photographs for business purposes.
* The name of the judges will be announced shortly.
* East West University Photography Club (EWUPC) reserves the right to change the rules if the situation demands. If this happens it will be notified in advance on the website or in the official Facebook page of East West University Photography Club (EWUPC).
If, for any unforeseen reason the exhibition is not capable of running as planned or any other causes beyond the control of EWUPC that hampers the smooth operation of the exhibition, EWUPC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual(s) who tamper with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the exhibition.
