EWU Cyber Security Club Hosts 1st General Member Orientation

The East West University Cyber Security Club (EWU CSC) marked a significant milestone with its 1st General Member Orientation, held on 27 November 2024. The event welcomed a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts, cybersecurity novices, and budding experts, all eager to embark on a journey of learning, innovation, and collaboration in the ever-evolving field of cybersecurity.
The orientation kicked off with a warm welcome from the club moderators Dr. Mohammad Rifat Ahmmad Rashid and Dr. Raihan Ul Islam, who shared the vision and mission of EWUCSC. "Our goal is to create a dynamic platform where students can explore the fascinating world of cybersecurity, gain hands-on experience, and prepare for the challenges of the digital age," they said.
The program included an engaging overview of the club's planned activities, including workshops on ethical hacking, CTF (Capture the Flag) competitions, and collaborative projects aimed at solving real-world cybersecurity challenges. Attendees were also introduced to the executive board and provided insights into how they could actively participate in the club's initiatives.
