RACEWU is excited to announce this year's CANVAS Program, offering East West University students a unique opportunity to learn essential graphic design skills and compete for scholarships, certificates, and job opportunities.

This year, the program focuses on Canva, a user-friendly tool that enables users to create attractive and professional designs with ease. Participants will not only gain valuable skills but also have the chance to compete fairly for scholarships and potential job placements.

Tool: Canva (Beginner to Advanced Usage)

Scholarships:

BDT 1 Lakh from BD Calling Academy will be distributed among the top ten winners through courses of their choice.

All other competition participants will receive a 20-30% scholarship.

Job Opportunities:

BD Calling Academy offers job placements to top performers who successfully complete their courses.

To qualify, participants must first use the scholarship, complete the course, and demonstrate their skills.

Competition Overview:

Competition Date: October 30, 2024

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Venue: Room 126

Process:
Participants can join anytime between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to participate in the competition. They will have 20 minutes to complete a design task based on the criteria provided. Once the task is finished, participants will submit their designs.

Important Notes:

Participants must bring their own internet and devices.

Both mobile and laptop are allowed.

Canva Pro can be used.

Awards Ceremony:

Time: 5:45 PM - 7:00 PM

Venue: Room 126

Winners will be announced, and certificates, crests, and medals will be awarded to participants.

 Important Note : Participants can miss their chance of getting scholarship if they miss the ending ceremony. Also no participation certificates will be provided if they miss the ending ceremony also.

Prizes for Top 10 Winners:

1. 1st to 5th place:

100% scholarship for any course at BD Calling Academy

Crests and gift items

2. 6th to 10th place:

60% scholarship for any course at BD Calling Academy

Medals and gift items

Other Participants:

20-30% scholarships for all remaining participants.

A booth will be placed in the EWU courtyard for two days (October 21-22) for in-person registration.
